Last minute event changes and additions will be emailed to you if you send an email to Doris. Please place "Everett Mountaineers" in the subject line.

Sep. 10, Wed. - 6:30 pm Singles Monthly Planning and Socializing Meeting . Come join us at 6:30pm to eat and socialize. At 7:00pm to plan next month's activities.Meet at Silver Lake Alfy's on Hwy. 527 in South Everett (1/2 price pizza when you mention you're there for mountaineers mtg). Sep. 13, Sat. - Excelsior Pass . (M)(GT Mt. Baker) 6 miles rt, 1100' gain. Great views of Mt. Baker, Mt. Shuksan and the Coast Mountain range in Canada. Lots of juicy blueberries in season. Plan for possible snow patches to cross (As of 8/13/08 Forest Service has reported snow patches on trail). I am hoping all snow is gone by date of hike, but it is always wise to be prepared. Sep. 20, Sat. - Tubal Cain Mine . (E) 7.2 mi, 1,050' gain. Lets hike out to the mine surrounded by alpine meadows. There may be a side trip up to see the remaining wreckage of a B-17 bomber that crashed in 1952. We will stop to eat on the way home. Social pace.
